In addition to the preparation of Construction Documents, assist owners during the Bid review process and the selection of a Contractor for their project, Weir/Andrewson Associates provides essential Construction Administration Services.
Construction
Administration is a broad term encompassing a wide variety of activities that
take place shortly prior, during, and at the end of the construction phase.
At least, Construction Administration should include a review of shop
submittal documentation, field observation of construction work in progress,
and witnessing of functional testing. The architect, engineer, or project manager plays a key role in supervising construction, along with program staff. During this phase, there is much activity with many vendors and sub-contractors working simultaneously and hopefully harmoniously. Weir/Andrewson Associates represent the owner at the weekly job meetings and provide overall project direction and leadership.
