W | A Associates prepared standard details and specifications for this multi-unit condominium complex regarding existing waterproofing conditions, including siding and siding penetrations, doors, fixed and operable windows, decks, roofs and roof penetrations. An evaluation of the adequacy and performance level of replacement windows offered to the homeowners was also provided.
Proposed structural design changes for units undergoing remodeling were reviewed for completeness and for any impact the design may have on adjacent units. Any structural changes to the units were evaluated with regard to the effect of the proposed remodel on the overall building’s structural capacity. Construction administration services were also provided during construction, as requested by the Home Owner Association, to confirm that the structural requirements of the work were carried out.
